RECARO Sportster CS created for a Porsche 993 Restomod — combining modern design with materials chosen to age beautifully.
We upholstered the seat in Crazy Horse leather with a distinctive pull-up effect. A non-traditional choice for automotive interiors, selected for its unique tactile character. Its oils and waxes create natural colour variation when touched or flexed; the marks that appear with use are part of the leather itself, not imperfections.
Over time, it develops a rich, individual patina while remaining highly resistant and durable.
The RECARO shell was finished in a custom-matched dark blue with a modern satin finish. Its sharp, technical appearance creates a deliberate contrast with the warm, vintage character of the leather.

RECARO Sportster CS creato per una Porsche 993 Restomod, dove design contemporaneo e materiali scelti per invecchiare con carattere si incontrano.
Abbiamo rivestito il sedile in pelle Crazy Horse con effetto pull-up, una scelta non convenzionale per gli interni automotive, selezionata per il suo carattere materico. Oli e cere presenti nella pelle creano variazioni naturali di tonalità quando la superficie viene toccata o flessa: i segni dell’uso non sono imperfezioni, ma parte della sua natura.
Con il tempo, la pelle sviluppa una patina ricca e personale, mantenendo elevate caratteristiche di resistenza.
La scocca RECARO è stata verniciata in un blu scuro satinato, realizzato a campione. Una finitura moderna e tecnica che crea un contrasto netto con l’aspetto caldo e vintage della pelle.
