Free Form Gate Hydal - Free Form Gate is unique sculpture created by Lukas Rittstein for EXPO Milano 2015 This sculpture embodies the every evanding zeitgeist.

It expresses the search for balance between the natural and the technical world. This futuristic sculpture that climaxes in a hint of automobile bodywork, which on the driver´s side opens up to a whole new direction and transforms itself into a bird´s head may also be understood as symbolizing a crossroads. The bird´s head stands for the faith in discovering a new storyline for mankind and for ope

ning up to nature´s spirits. The fact that the sculpture is at the same time a fountain landing on the surface of water contains symbolick reference to the use of nanofibers to filter water in the Third World. Standing in front of the pavilion, it works as a welcoming guardian who is looking straight back at you.
