Dubiel Vitrum SP. z.o.o.: a second purchase is more than a new order.

Dubiel Vitrum, in Poland, is a modern production facility specialized in flat glass processing. The company dates back to the 1930s when Piotr Dubiel began working as an apprentice at a glass artisan's workshop in Tarnów (source. www.dubielvitrum.com).

Last year, Dubiel Vitrum added bending process to their production by purchasing one RCN’s ECO SPECIAL 3500, divided in different heat sections for the production of complex curves. This year, they placed the order for a second ECO 3500 that has been delivered at the end of July.

Trust is one of the most important recognition we can receive. For this reason we are particularly proud when a customer chooses our machines once and a second time too.

We are grateful to Mr. Andrzej Dubiel of Dubiel Vitrum, for giving RCN the opportunity to serve his company again.

RCN is reconnecting

Vacation is over but our energy is just getting started.
During this stop our minds stayed focused on all the tasks waiting for us back home.

Our production is running at full capacity, and some machines have already passed the final inspection and have been validated for immediate shipment.

Before our summer break, we are completing our final deliveries to ensure our customers receive their equipment on time and keep their projects moving without delays, with our remote assistance ensured during closing time too.

Minimize logistics in lamination by installing an RCN loading conveyor

To increase efficiency means to install equipment that contribute to the proper functioning of the system.
Our loading conveyor has been designed to improve handling in lamination.
As a matter of fact, the use of this roller conveyor eliminates the need to use an overhead crane or other lifting equipment for glass handling.

The glass panels to be laminated are loaded directly from the preparation table to the conveyor by horizontal transfer.
By ensuring safety the RCN’s conveyor reduces the manual handling,of at least 30% and allows smooth product flow throughout the production process.

Built for durability in customizable dimensions, this conveyor pairs well the lifting platform releasing the glass to be laminated directly into the laminating bag.

Once loaded, the conveyor moves over the lifting platform and, going back, allowes the controlled release of the glass directly to the laminating bag, granting a precise, safe and efficient transfer. Then it returns to the original postion ready for a new load.

In other words: increased handling efficiency, improved operator safety and reduced costs

Un nuovo volto in RCN!

Il processo di riorganizzazione aziendale prosegue.

Oggi RCN dà il benvenuto a Antonino Giacalone, il nuovo capo officina a cui spetterà il compito di coordinare le attività produttive, monitorandone l'avanzamento e il rispetto delle tempistiche, nonché l’impiego delle risorse umane.

Benché giovane, Antonino ha già sperimentato con successo la messa in funzione di macchinari, anche quelle CNC, per il settore della plastica, operando con successo in diversi Paesi del mondo.

A new face at RCN!

The company’s reorganization process is moving forward. Today,

RCN is pleased to welcome Antonino Giacalone as its new Workshop Manager. In this role, he will be responsible for coordinating production activities, monitoring progress, ensuring the respect of deadlines, and overseeing the effective allocation of human resources.

Despite his young age, Antonino has already gained extensive international experience, successfully commissioning machinery, including CNC machines, for the plastics industry around the world.

To automate means improving efficiency
There has been much discussion about automation in production and it is now a crucial matter for all the glaziers.
But why should you choose automatic machines?

In-House Design: the engineering of customization

Curved glass: to invest in increasing production capacity.

There are three systems to bend glass: by gravity, by pressing, and recently by bending and tempering. All of them requires a hot process.

There is another one, cold bending which is often performed by using thin chemical tempered glass.

The first thing that comes to mind when we think about curved glass is the fluidity of the shapes, appearing softer, more natural and harmonious. And we are all fall in love with curved glass.

But there is more.

Curved glass has an important light interaction because its surface gradually modifies the direction of the rays of light, depending on the shpe.

RCN SOLUTIONS is specialized in manufacturing kilns for bending by gravity: the glass is heated and, under its weight, it slumps on a mold taking the shape without fusing completely.

But how to satisfy the demand for different curves and volumes?

RCN SOLUTIONS provides three lines of bending machines:

- ECO SPECIAL, the traditional line with one bending trolley and independent heating zones.
- FLOATING, with mobile or fixed top and bending trolleys
