After numerous tests, CFD simulations and aerodynamic evaluations, we’ve finally reached the final stage of the winglets project for the KTM RC 990.

From the very beginning, the goal was clear: to create a component that blends naturally with the bike’s design while preserving the balance of the original aerodynamic characteristics in terms of downforce and drag.

Throughout the development process, we collected and analyzed multiple CFD datasets, carefully refining the balance between downforce and drag to achieve behavior as consistent and balanced as possible with the OEM configuration.

Every detail has been developed to achieve a clean, cohesive and naturally integrated result — something that feels like it was always meant to be part of the bike.

We have tried as much as possible to stay true to the initial design, whilst taking aerodynamic parameters into account. The aim was to create something that was not only aesthetically pleasing but also served a practical purpose.
Results at 240 km/h :
26.4 kg of downforce with a positive efficiency ratio (downforce/drag) of 1.09

The next step will be to build the prototype so we can test it on the track.
