Audi just presented the Nuvolari.

1,001 PS. Over 350 km/h. 0 to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds. 499 units.

A 4.0 litre biturbo V8, three electric motors, active aero, carbon bodywork and a name borrowed from the one and only Tazio Nuvolari.

The technology is clearly there.
The real question, for us, is emotional.

After the R8, Audi needs a car people do more than respect, it needs a car they want on their walls.

So, is this the next Audi poster car?
Or just another thousand horsepower hybrid supercar trying to be remembered?

The R34 GT-R became a legend because of the numbers, the games, the movies, the internet, and millions of posters in our childhood bedrooms.

And standing there, between vines at golden hour, it feels even bigger than all of that.

A car from a time in history when technology still felt physical, boost still felt dangerous, and driving fast still required a deep understanding of what the machine was doing.

No wonder people still love it.

So, if you had to pick one out of the three rivals of the 90s, which would you pick? R34 GT-R, Supra Mk4, or RX-7 FD?

We took a Lamborghini Temerario into the centre of Martina Franca, a small town in Puglia.

A place made of pale stone, baroque buildings, quiet squares and centuries of beauty.

Italy has always had a strange talent for making speed feel cultural.

And for one brief moment in Puglia, the Temerario looked like it belonged in a place built for slow living.

Sharp, loud, completely out of context.

Somehow, perfect.

Built as a modern tribute to one of the most beautiful Alfa Romeos ever made, the 33 Stradale feels like looking inside a dream.

It feels retro.
It feels modern.
It feels nostalgic.

And at the same time it makes you want to push hard and devour the road ahead in no time.

Some people think of it simply as a Maserati MC20 with a different bodywork.

So we were wondering: since when is being called a Maserati a bad thing?
Yes, maybe the V6 was not the perfect engine for such an exclusive car, and maybe it deserved something more special, but still…it looks so cool!

BMW M5 E28.
La prima M5.

Una berlina seria, grigia, quasi anonima, con dentro un 3.5 sei cilindri in linea derivato dalla M1, 286 cavalli, cambio manuale e trazione posteriore.

Nel 1985 era un’idea audace.
Oggi è storia.

Perché la E28 ha fatto una cosa enorme senza bisogno di sembrare enorme: ha preso la forma più normale possibile e l’ha riempita di sostanza.

La accendevi e capivi che da lì in poi una berlina poteva diventare qualcosa di molto più serio.

La super berlina moderna nasce qui.
Con quattro porte, una carrozzeria grigia e abbastanza coraggio da cambiare le regole.

Mostro.

In Italian, it means monster.
But it can also mean someone incredibly good at what they do.

Which makes it the perfect name for this car.

The Zagato Mostro Barchetta, powered by Maserati, feels raw, dramatic and beautifully unreasonable.

Only five made.
4.2 litre Maserati V8.
Around 420 hp.
Around 1,200 kg.
Six speed sequential gearbox.
No roof.
And very, very little patience.

The name goes back to the Maserati 450S Zagato, the car Stirling Moss famously described as “beautiful like a monster”.

Decades later, Zagato brought that idea back in open-top form.

This Barchetta is rare, aggressive, mechanical and deeply physical.
A reminder that beauty can still have teeth.
That driving can still feel dangerous in the right way.
And that, sometimes, being called a monster is the highest compliment.

So, what are you taking?

The Opel Lotus Omega is what happened after someone in a meeting room in the ’80s said something like “what if we made a saloon that could outrun the police?”.

It all started from an Opel Omega, which sounds about as dangerous as office furniture.
Then Lotus got involved.

3.6 litre twin turbo straight six. 377 hp. 568 Nm. Six speed manual. Rear wheel drive. 283 km/h flat out.

In the early 90s, that was not quick, it was deeply irresponsible.

The Lotus Omega was not just fast. It was deeply inappropriate.
And that is exactly why it became a myth.
