Andrea Mosca takes on European challenge of Bacci Trasmissioni Meccaniche with AR Motorsport in TC Open 2017

Mosca has become the first driver confirmed at the wheel of an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce of Team Bacci with AR Motorsport in the new European touring car series

The Italian team Bacci will take part in the TC Open series for the full season with two Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce cars equipped with the original 1,750 cc turbocharged engine.

The Italian driver Andrea Mosca will compete with the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce of the Italian Team Bacci prepared by AR Motorsport.

Mosca is a very expert driver in touring car competitions and drove the Giulietta in the last three racing weekends of 2016 in TCT Class in the Italian National Touring Car Championship, helping the team in the development of the new car. He also won in his Alfa Romeo at Imola`s Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari.

Andrea is an experienced driver who started from kart competitions when he was young and then turned his interests to the touring car competitions in hill climbing races firstly, and to tracks competitions thereafter. He regularly drove in the Italian National touring car Championship with Peugeot and Seat and in the last two years also in GT series with the Renault Megane V6 trophy.

All team worked hard on the cars during the winter to produce some modifications and developments mostly on the exhaust system and on the aerodynamics.”
