After many years working in yacht brokerage TJB’s eponymous founder, Tim Johnson, felt that the super yacht market was losing its identity and becoming impersonal and overly commercial. He felt that the old-world yachting values of passion and flair were lacking and, without it, the client exp

erience was losing some of its magic. Tim makes it his mission to ensure your experience in finding and choosing the perfect yacht is a memorable one. He understands that each client’s needs are as unique as they yachts they choose to charter or own. Sail between Corsica’s granite cliffs and Sardinia’s translucent bays, combining long lunches ashore with afternoons in exceptionally clear water. September brings a calmer atmosphere, while the region’s beaches and coastal towns remain beautifully alive.

CROATIA

CARPE DIEM: Available for Sale

Built in 2023, the 31m CARPE DIEM combines Azimut’s distinctive Italian design with contemporary interiors and expansive exterior living spaces.

Life on board centres around the flybridge, where a jacuzzi, cold plunge, full bar, dining area and retractable sunroof create an inviting setting from day through to evening. At water level, the beach club and floating dock provide direct access to the sea and her collection of water toys.

Her shallow 1.65m draft offers greater cruising flexibility, allowing access to shallow anchorages and secluded coastal areas.

BROKER SPOTLIGHT | CHARLIE HAYWARD

For Charlie Hayward, a career in yachting began long before he became a broker.

At just 15, he started spending his summers aboard yachts in Greece, gaining an early understanding of life on the water and the energy behind some of the Mediterranean’s busiest marinas.

After university, Charlie moved to Athens and established his own brokerage before returning to London and joining TJB Super Yachts. Today, as a Sales & Charter Broker, he combines first-hand industry experience with an extensive network of owners, captains and crew to guide clients through every stage of a yacht purchase or charter.

Speaking English and Greek, Charlie’s knowledge of Greece extends far beyond its most recognised destinations. From the Ionian Islands to the Cyclades, his local insight allows him to create highly personalised itineraries shaped around how each client wants to experience the region.

His approach is straightforward: listen carefully, understand what matters to the client and manage every detail with discretion.
