The MD51 Power is currently under construction at Maxi Dolphin, with delivery scheduled for June 2027.

Step by step, detail by detail, a new project is becoming reality — marking the beginning of a new chapter for our shipyard.

We’re rebuilding, reorganising and getting ready to start again.

And this is just the beginning.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝘀. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, 𝗶𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀.

We stood there watching the firefighters fight the flames through the night, doing everything they could to save our shipyard in Erbusco.

𝗔𝗹𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝟰𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆, 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁.

The fire 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙮𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥𝙮𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙀𝙧𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙘𝙤, 𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙗𝙤𝙖𝙩𝙨: 𝙖𝙣 𝙈𝘿𝟴𝟬, 𝙖𝙣 𝙈𝘿𝟳𝟱 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙣 𝙈𝘿𝟱𝟭 𝙋𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧.

The damage is devastating. But thankfully, no one was injured — and that is what matters most.

Now comes the hard part: clearing, securing and restarting.
But we are already looking ahead.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Carlo Borlenghi, one of the greatest storytellers of sailing photography, whose lens captured the emotions, challenges and beauty of our sport for decades.

Maxi Dolphin wants to remember Carlo through some of his iconic shots of the historic Viriella — images that tell the story of a boat, but also of an important chapter of our journey.

Our collaboration continued throughout the years, bringing many unforgettable experiences together, always enriched by Carlo’s extraordinary talent, professionalism and genuine passion for sailing.

The whole Maxi Dolphin team, and especially Luca Botter, would like to honour his memory with great affection and gratitude.

Introducing the first renders of the new MD51P Walkaround 2027, Maxi Dolphin’s latest motor yacht project.

Currently under construction, the MD51P is designed for a limited production series, combining refined design, functionality, and the attention to detail that has always defined the Maxi Dolphin brand.

The first unit is scheduled for delivery by the end of April 2027.
