The automotive market seems to be in freefall, while Jaguar is going all-in by targeting a high-income audience with a strong inclination towards consumption. For those saying, ‘Oh my God, Jaguar used to be a brand for tough guys, and now we’re all doomed,’ I’d say: the decadent chic, opulence, and animalier references of the last 30 years aren’t exactly the emblem of the metalworkers.

Where are you Beast of Turin? Who knows the history of this resurrection? It seems that the engine pulsing under the hood of The Beast is actually the property of the Italian state, kept in a museum and protected by cultural heritage. It was loaned for the purpose of being copied, but apparently was never returned. A non-functioning fake model was brought back, and coincidentally 🙂🇮🇹, no one noticed it for years. If you see them at the Goodwood Revival, will you ask them where that engine came from?
