Today marks 3️⃣0️⃣ years to the day since we scored our first race win. Gabriele Tarquini was the triumphant driver at Silverstone in the ITC - the most extravagant touring car championship ever created - in the JAS Motorsport Alfa Romeo 155.

Harry Bloor became the latest driver to win in the Civic Type R TCR with a double success over the weekend.

DOUBLE WINNER

🇬🇧 Harry Bloor - a member of the JAS Motorsport Driver Development Programme - scored an impressive double TCR UK 🏆 win at Donington Park for DT Racing Developments while there were podium finishes for fellow DDP driver Max Hall (Hall’s Racing) and JAS Supported Driver Max Hart (ALM with Hall’s Racing) - who now leads the points. Carl Boardley (CBM with SVG Motorsport) and Jenson O’Neill-Going (Power Maxed Racing) took best results of fourth and 11th.

🇨🇳 Spark Racing’s Yun Jie Zhou finished second in the Am class in the final TCR China race of the weekend at Ordos, while team-mate Jerry Sun was eliminated in a startling incident that caused a red flag. Team TRC’s Paul P**n was also eliminated in the same incident, but team-mate Frederick Lee finished third in the Rookie class. Ton Chan was third in Am for Norris Racing.

PODIUMS!

🇨🇳 Team TRC’s Paul P**n finished third in the opening TCR China race at Ordos while there were three more podiums in the various classes. Jerry Sun (Spark Racing) and Frederick Lee (TRC) were second and third in Rookie while Yun Jie Zhou was second in Am for Spark.

🇬🇧 DT Racing Developments’ Harry Bloor qualified third as TCR UK moved on to Donington Park, with JAS Supported Driver Max Hart alongside him for ALM with Hall’s Racing. Carl Boardley (CBM with SVG Motorsport) and Max Hall (Hall’s Racing) were next up while points leader Jenson O’Neill-Going starts eighth for Power Maxed Racing.

Pole to start the weekend.

🇨🇳 Jerry Sun scored a Rookie class pole position for Spark Racing as TCR China moved on to Ordos. Class title contender Frederick Lee, of Team TRC, did not set a time and starts last. Tony Chan (Norris Racing) and Yan Jie Zhou (Spark) start second and fourth in Am while Paul P**n - newly installed at Team TRC - qualified ninth overall.
