This is the second of two MG Hector CNG conversions we completed in a single day, a 2023 5-seater with the 1.5L turbocharged engine (141bhp, 6-speed Smart CVT automatic). Real-world petrol mileage on this engine runs 8 to 12 kmpl, which adds up fast on a heavy turbo-petrol SUV. Complete CNG installation on a 2025 Skoda Slavia 1.0 TSI Automatic, the first Slavia CNG conversion in Delhi NCR, shown here refuelling at a CNG station. On petrol the Slavia TSI returns only 10 to 13 kmpl in real world driving, which makes monthly fuel costs heavy in Delhi traffic. Running costs drop sharply on CNG, and the owner confirmed after a test drive that the pickup still feels the same as petrol.
