Job Title: Accountant & Finance Manager
Location: Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu

Overview:
Thanjai Maragatham Tyres, a leading multi-brand tyre dealer in the region, is looking for an experienced Accountant & Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting strategic financial decisions for our dealership's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting activities including invoicing, inventory management, and accounts payable/receivable
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other financial regulations
• Conduct regular audits and coordinate with external auditors
• Manage payroll and inventory costing, specific to the dealership
• Assist in budgeting, cash flow analysis, and financial forecasting
• Provide actionable financial insights to support business decisions
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or automobile industries
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Billing and inventory software and QuickBooks
• Familiarity with GST, TDS, and taxation processes in India
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
Preferred:
• Experience in the automotive or tyre industry is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
