The race track is the last place you’d expect an SUV to perform well at but the new Renault Duster begs to differ!
A lot of the development of the duster took place at the racetrack and that reflects in the way it handles. The Turbo DCe engine with 160bhp on tap and the solid RGMP platform is what let us set the record for the fastest production Indian SUV to lap the Buddh International Circuit. The driver tasked with setting the record was Karminder Singh, who knows the BIC like the back of his hand. Finally, to extract every last bit of performance, we fit the Duster with JK Tyre’s Ranger HP SUV tyres and Castrol engine oil enabled the 1.3-litre to dole out all of its performance despite Delhi’s scorching heat.
