Mahindra has launched the BE 6 Sporteq series, a new line-up built on the BE 6, with prices starting at ₹11.45 lakh and ₹3.75/km for the battery under the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) scheme.

Here are the key highlights –

➡️ Eight variants: One, Two, Three, Three+, Four, Freedom Edition, Freedom Edition Four and Launch Edition
➡️ Three battery pack options: 59kWh, 70kWh and 79kWh
➡️ Under BaaS, battery usage is charged separately at ₹3.75/km (based on 60km/day)
➡️ 12 colour options in total, including 4 new shades – Rosso Impulso, Ruby Velvet, Graphite Storm and Firestorm Orange Satin
➡️ From the Two variant onwards, all models get a three-screen setup with Google Gemini
➡️ A karaoke feature for the first time in an electric SUV
➡️ Drift mode
➡️ Launch Edition gets an exclusive Graphite Storm exterior with Racing Tan leatherette interior
➡️ Ex-showroom prices start from ₹19.45 lakh and goes all the way up to ₹26.95 lakh
➡️ New software features will roll out to existing BE 6, XEV 9e and XEV 9S owners via OTA updates from January 2027

Mahindra has launched the BE 6 Formula E Freedom Edition, a performance-focused version in the BE 6 Sporteq range, inspired by Mahindra Racing's Formula E programme. It comes in two variants – FE and FE Four – priced at ₹24.45 lakh and ₹26.95 lakh respectively, both on the 79kWh battery pack.

Here are its highlights –

➡️ Retains the original BE 6 headlamp design from the previous circular ones
➡️ Gets Satin colour finishes, including the new Rosso Impulso colour
➡️ Cabin features an exclusive Black and Firestorm Orange theme, a two-screen digital cockpit, and a halo design element
➡️ Claimed 0-100 kmph in 6.44 seconds via the exclusive Acceleration Boost mode
➡️ Deliveries begin 26th August, coinciding with Onam

Mahindra has unveiled the Scorpio Pickup, which is called the 'Scorpio Lifestyler' in India.

It is based on the Global Pikup concept that was showcased back in 2023, and is scheduled to launch in April 2027. Additional details are yet to be revealed but the ex-showroom prices will be less than ₹19.79 lakh.
