From Rammstein’s industrial-metal riffs and thunderous beats, shouting along “Deutschland, Deutschland über allen”, leaping into the rhythmic yet equally industrial pulses and synthesizer waves of Kraftwerk’s Die Mensch-Maschine, complete with robotic arm and shoulder movements, today we celebrate the most industrial and innovative nation on earth: Germany!
Why?
Because our Wind2Water project of converting discarded Wind turbine Blades into low-cost catamaran hulls for the inland waterways of poor and developing countries, has been featured in one of Germany’s top three boat publications, Boote Magazin! With a bilingual print and online presence and a monthly readership of 160,000, Boote stands as Europe’s largest motorboat-focused magazine, reaching a wide audience passionate about motor yachts and cutting-edge boating technology.
After slogging away for half a decade in a swamp-side shed in a forgotten corner of Northeast India, enduring the all-round apathy of local authorities, and now seeing our work featured in leading publications across the world.
From Belgium to the US, France, England, New Zealand, and finally Germany!Perhaps it’s finally time for us to sing along with the Scorpions:
“Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night
Where the children of tomorrow dream away
In the wind of change… The wind of change…”
