It is Holi time now and everyone is getting ready to enjoy this festival of colures with one thing in mind - to have more fun than last year. But if you are someone like me, the fun and excitement of Holi will soon be followed by the one major concern - how to protect my car from colour stains. While you might know that dry colour isn't much of concern and can be easily washed off, the biggest problem is the chemical-based colours that people use these days that not only leaves stains on the car but is some cases also spoils the cars paint. While we cannot stop people from using such colour we can surely protect our cars by taking these few simple measures.

1) Even if your car is safely parked, keep it covered with a thick plastic cover as a precautionary measure.

2) Spend few hours a day before Holi to apply a coat of wax polish on your car. This will keep the colours from strong stain on the car and will be easy for you to wash it off latter.

3) Despite taking all the precautionary measures, if your car gets stained then we suggest you to go to a professional carwash store instead of asking you watchman to do so.

4) If your car is waxed or polished, u can be carefree but if not, though it'll cost you a fair bit, it will be wise investment.

5) In case if you get some colour on the dashboard, few hours over the weekend with our Interior Germ Clean treatment will make it as good as new.

6) Specific areas like boot-lid, bonnet, door handles and fenders are easy targets for the colours to catch on therefore keep them covered with plastic.

7) In case you do plan to do it yourself do not use detergents available in your house as these are strong and could spoil polish film from the car.

8) No matter how pleasant the climate is keep your windows shut while driving. If you AC is broken it's better to adjust to few moments of heat than spend your weekend scraping stains of your seats.

9) You can also use plastic seat covers to protect your car on the inside. However, one needs to be careful as the plastic cover may also slip and the upholstery can get stained.
