Having a fast truck doesn't matter if you can't see at night. While we can't give your truck more power, we can give it more light. The more you can see, the faster you can drive. Lighting is Horsepower at Night™

1. Cleaning & Lubrication:

- Avoid using kerosene on sealed chains as it can deform the seal ring and cause rusting, leading to chain failure.

- Clean the chain with a dampened O-Ring/X-Ring® safe cleaner and dry it completely every 300 miles (500 km) to prevent rust and ensure maximum performance.

- Protect X-Ring® from steam, thinner, gasoline, benzene, and wire bush.

- Lubricate the chain with an O-Ring/X-Ring® safe lubricant.

2. Replacement Time:

- Sealed chains should have a maximum stretch of 1% of their length (e.g., .75” of a 120L chain).

- Non-sealed chains should have a maximum stretch of 2% of their length (e.g., 1.5” of a 120L chain).

- Rust, stiffness, missing X-Rings, excessive elongation, or abnormal noise may indicate chain failure. Replace the chain and sprockets at the same time.

3. Battery Liquid/Corrosive Materials:

- Replace the entire chain if battery (acid) liquid comes into contact with it, as it may compromise its integrity.

- Clean the chain after contact with corrosive materials like rock salt.

4. Replacing Sprockets:

- Replace sprockets when wear approaches the maximum permissible limit or if they sustain damage that affects safe riding.

-The condition and quality of the chain affects the performance and life of the sprockets. Check your chain for wear and adjust it, and align the sprockets when replacing them. A deteriorated chain can cause extreme sprocket wear and reduced life. Do not change the chain size, type, or sprocket tooth number and stick to the motorcycle manufacturer recommendation for street legal use.
