Firstly, I on behalf of the Mysuru Travels Association, would like to express my regrets over the huge loss of property caused to many vehicle owners and drivers at the Aero Show Bengaluru. It is most unfortunate that the organisers have let this gross mistake happen, which had resulted in various owners and drivers lose their source of livelihood. In light of the huge loss that has been incurred, we urge the government to take immediate action in compensation the drivers/owners, in providing them a waive off of the vehicle loans and in providing for the damages immediately. Just insurance won’t be sufficient to recover the loss and it also won’t cover the loss of revenue for the time until the insurance amount is released. It isn’t enough for the government to just waive off the farmers loans. The tourism industry is just as important and it is time the government paid heed to the drivers/owners. So we urge the government to take immediate action and to listen to out unified demand for compensation.

ಕನ್ನಡ ಹಬ್ಬ ೨೦೧೮ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಮೈಸೂರು ಟ್ರಾವೆಲ್ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಷನ್ ನಗರಾದ್ಯಂತ ಒಂದು ವಾರದಿಂದ ಕನ್ನಡದ ರಥವನ್ನು ಅದ್ಭುತವಾಗಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವಂತೆಮಾಡಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಂಪನ್ನು ಹರಡಿದರು,ಕಂಪನ್ನು ಮಾಲ್ ಆಫ್ ಮೈಸೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಡಿಸಲು ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಗೀತ ಸಂಜೆ ೨೪ ನವೆಂಬರ ರಂದು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶ್ರೀದೇವಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಗಡದವರು ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾವಗೀತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಆನಂತರ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸರಿಗಮಪ ಖ್ಯಾತಿಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಹರ್ಷರವರು ಕನ್ನಡ ಹಳೆಯ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಗೀತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿ ನೆರೆದ ಕನ್ನಡ ರಸಿಕರನ್ನು ರಂಜಿಸಿದರು.ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಂಶಿ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಸಂಪಾದಕರು ಕನ್ನಡಪ್ರಭ, ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಜಶೇಖರ ಕದಂಬ ರಂಗಭೂಮಿ ಕಲಾವಿದರು ಕದಂಬ ರಂಗವೇದಿಕೆ ಮೈಸೂರು ಇವರುಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

On the occasion of world tourism day 2018, Department of Tourism,Government of Karnataka in association with Mysuru Travels Association and Hotel Owners association celebrated its tourism day at Mysuru palace yesterday.

Sri Yaduveer krishnadatta Chamaraja Wodeyar , Maharaja of Mysuru, Sri G T Devegowda, Minster for higher education, Government of Karnataka, Sri S A Ramadass, MLA, KR Constituency,Mysuru, Sri Abhiram G Shankar , DC, Mysuru, Sri Hardhavardhan, MLA, Nanjangud Constituency, Sri Lokesh, Corporator , Sri Subramanaya,DD-Mysuru Palace board, Sri B S Prashanth, President, Mysuru Travels Association, Sri Narayan gowda, President ,Hotel Owners Association and Sri Jayakumar, Chairman, Mysore Travel Mart graced the occasion and inaugurated the virtual digital transformation of tourism on 27th September morning.

Evening programs: police band and Bhushan’s academy performed on the occasion of World Tourism Day at Mysuru palace premises. Even we Mysuru Travels Association took the initiative to honour some of the people who made their enormous effort in making this travel industry to grow and reach its heights.

Mysuru Travels Association is always behind promoting Mysuru tourism globally and to work towards the improvements to make Mysuru at its best. Let’s join hands in making our tourism to reach every nook and corner.

Sri Papanna, a thoughtful person and who was also teacher for our Ex-CM of Karnataka Sri Siddaramaiah and Smt Ranganayaki, a soulful teacher was been felicitating today for their enormous contribution towards education and being the basement educationist for several children’s .
