Different between comprehensive Insurance and Third Party Insurance...
1. Comprehensive cover
Comprehensive car insurance covers anyone driving your car for fire, theft, accidental damage and legal liability. It's the most complete protection you can get and provides cover up to the amount you are insured for. This is called the 'sum insured' which can be either the Market Value of your car or the Agreed Value, whichever you choose.
2. Third party property only
This level of cover insures your legal liability when you damage another person's property with your vehicle, up to the limit detailed on your policy. An uninsured motorist benefit is included in this policy. It doesn't, however, cover any damage caused to your vehicle unless the circumstances fall under those detailed in the uninsured motorist benefit.
