And moreover, it has also been clear that the basic causes of increasing number of road accidents are- weak traffic planning, constantly increasing number of vehicles on t
he road, lack of formal driving lessons and unprofessional drivers. Hence with a motive to bring an end to such accidents (and if not end then certainly bring down their numbers) Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. has introduced formal driving school- Maruti Driving School (MDS), the first one of its type to introduce advanced driving training for safe driving. The main purpose of establishing a driving school is to promote safe driving among people. The school will not just impart knowledge regarding skills of safe driving but will also inculcate safe-motor driving-culture through various theoretical sessions for behavioral training and road sense.
