The much awaited 2018 (Season 3) of Kolkata (and surroundings) based fans/ followers/ members was held on Sunday 2018-01-07 at Azad Hind Dhaba, Uluberia, Howrah district, West Bengal (exactly 49 kms from Salt Lake Stadium on the left of NH6 enroute to Kharagpur).
The assembly point was the Santragachi Bus Terminal (under construction) on NH117, Kona Expressway at 10am.
Lip smacking food, lots of stories, networking, brand activation, gifts on the sprawling lawn at the venue were the key agenda for the day.
Also happy to announce to the world that a host of great brands have started sending feelers to associate themselves with this niche online forum, .
Participation by MRF T&S, PeeSafe at the whole day meet on Sunday was testimony to that and also a curtain raiser.
The youngest member Deepak Mitra, only 67 yrs old and known for his drives in his miniature Tata Nano stunned everyone by reaching the assembly point in his Honda Unicorn inspite of the cold wave (9 degrees) sweeping over Kolkata and suburbs.
Car Rally veteran Santanu Saha drove his colourful Maruti Esteem 150 kms from Tajpur (near Digha) to attend the meet.
The line-up of matured roadies who met up were: Deepak Mitra, Debasish Mukherjee, Santanu Mukhopadhyay, Sanjib 'Rana' Bose, Sajjan Tailor, Debasish Dey, Rajeev Agiwal, Srilekha Agiwal, Abhijit Sarkar, Nikhilesh Roy, Debdeep Sen, Subhas Nag Choudhury, Mohan Rao, Nihar Mishra, Debashis Roy Chowdhury, Punyabrata Biswas, Sharmistha Biswas, Aparnesh Mitra, Sandip Hunday, Santanu Saha, Pew Ghosh, Lakshminarasimhan Sridhar, Kunal Gupta and me Deep Banerjee (Founder - IndianRoadie).
Moreover, there were executives from MRF, JB Tyre Hub, PeeSafe.
