Wrapped up with this work yesterday, was a five-day binge to complete this commission from , was nice to have a beautiful sunset from the work desk during the process - a pleasure to create this for you, and thanks for the patience waiting, Preeti. I know you really loved your Baleno, and hope this serves as a nice reminder for all your memories with her.

Lovely to see there's still love and appreciation for handdrawn old school artwork in this age of AI-everything - markers, colour pencils and ink were used for this on paper, and your Maruti art will reach you real soon!

A brief BTS look back from the awesome month that was March, for those of you who might have missed my updates - placed 16th against the Top 22 drivers selected from India to compete in the FMSCI-partnered National EGT3 Championship organized by Virtual Racing Hub.

I've learned a lot while competing with the best sim racers in the country, and have found certain areas I need to work hard on, like trail braking for example, because I'm losing precious milliseconds because of my amateur capability with this critical skill. Need to spend more time in practice to familiarize myself with world racetracks as well, since sim racing is extremely intense with very little margin for error, and track knowledge and experience is always a huge boon. Still, pretty pleased to have made it this far at least! 🙂🐢🏁

We live, we learn.

Final results of the EGT3 championship are out - while I managed only 16th position after the month's races were complete, it was a memorable experience to race with these crazy-quick youngsters. Also, to be in the Top 30 or so Assetto Corsa racers in the country is a win personally, and just having made the driver selection for this championship makes me very happy indeed. Here's to plenty more, long live sim racing!

Official results are out for Round 1 at Monza, only P11 sadly. Was a mixed bag, last Sunday's race - got very unlucky with a bump from behind on Lap 1 at T3, which resulted in a spin and saw me dropping ten places to P18, sadly after a great start that saw me rise to P8 from my P10 starting grid position. Was frustrating not to be in the points (which begin from P8), but I guess I was decently pleased with the recovery nonetheless despite a stupid mistake running wide once as well - I managed to make up 7 places before the end of the race.

I think I definitely had a shot at being in the top 6, had it not been for that early spin, and of course, some irresponsible driving and silly crashes by some drivers in front of me, that saw me lose tons of valuable time. But hey, that's racing, so on to the next one now at the Nurburgring GP circuit on Sunday...

Thanks to for the reel.

I made it, guys, by the skin of my teeth, because of a few last-minute cancellations, so am hella proud to be part of the 22-driver lineup for the championship now! My first race is at Monza on Sunday, shall keep you folks updated - wish me luck, peeps, this is a pretty big deal to me! 🐢🏁🇮🇳

Well, the EGT3 Championship Qualifying is done and dusted now, and I unsurprisingly didn't make the 22-driver cut, but was super pleased nonetheless, since I missed out by only 0.3 seconds to the last qualifier - not bad for quite possibly the oldest sim racer on the grid... 😁

I was kicked since I managed my all-time best lap time at Spa, 2:18.383, but it only goes to show the remarkable standard of sim racing in the country, with these kiddos burning up the track. Will be entering more competitive events as they come by though, since the whole experience and journey from practice to Q1 and Q2 crunch times was truly exhilarating.

Hope you enjoy watching the lap above - it's by no means perfect with a couple of glaring mistakes like a botched shift and running wide, but I'm happy to have pulled this lap off. Here's to hiking steadily up that steep learning curve!

Entering the server of the FMSCI-sanctioned, VRH National E-Sports Racing Championship in around an hour for FP1 on the Assetto Corsa platform and will be on-off till midnight, so you can imagine my slow-coach butterflies...

Quali runs twice for 30 minutes tomorrow and on Sunday, and the top 22 lap times in these sessions decide the selection, after driver incidents and etiquette have been reviewed by the FMSCI steward.

While I realize it's but a zilch chance at the 22-driver cut from over a 100 competitors to enter the championship races, since my hotlaps are lukewarm at best against the leaders', am nonetheless really keen on the experience of the learning, intensity, and pure thrill of an official contest while behind the sim wheel of that muah, beautiful BMW Z4 GT3 at Spa Francorchamps with some of the country's best sim racers.

Racing is soul food to me, so it's gonna be a great weekend, results regardless. Zoom zoom. 🏎☁🏁🇮🇳

Betting getting in some great racing over the recent past, but very few battles have come this close, leading to this insane finish. It wasn't for the win, but P3 was a good result nonetheless, given the high skill levels and international demographic of drivers.

In other sim racing news, Turtle Torque was invited to be a race steward on the Full Force Simracing server based out of the UK - I'm truly honoured because the founder of this community appreciated my race etiquette, pace and knowledge, and I'm def one of the very few Indians in simracing to be offered this role across the Assetto Corsa online simracing communities. This recognition is a small step towards all my ambitions in simracing, and here's hoping for the bigger and better soon...

T'was a long time coming, but I think it's come out pretty cool, innit? This CB350 RS commission came from one of my oldest buds from school, - I hope you like it, homie!

Swipe for the process stages, and last but not least, Jungle's Platoon felt like a fitting soundtrack to this post, since Ben and me share music all the time, and he introduced me to this great band all those years ago in 2017, I think it was... 🙂

What does one do when you have a yearning to have every single iconic car out there but don't have erm, enough parking space? Well, live and let diecast of course!

I've added around thirty cars to the 1:64 scale Turtle Torque garage this year, and wanted to share a small handful of my personal faves from 2025 with y'all motorheads - the entire collection is up around 430 cars in totes, and if I don't watch out, I just might risk running out of storage for these teeny honies as well...

Still, managed to get them at very decent prices, and some of these have already multiplied several times in value - they ain't for sale, but how good is Hot Wheels car p**n too!
