I found some more ins and outs, positives and negatives of being a design engineer. Let us start with the negatives first and then positives so that final taste of the article remains good… But do not worry, if you are a design engineer like me, positives are more than the negatives.
Ever changing standards
Standards and information are ever changing in the design world and most of the time you need a professional engineer certification renewal after some years. New changes are usually tough and you have to implement them on your entire system.

Ironically, such type of requests come when you have almost done your design. Sometime there is a genuine need of change in your design but you are not able to sense the need of it as you are fascinated by your design. Such situation comes mostly in your 3D Design work.
