🏎️ Vehicle: Facelift Skoda Superb 1.8 TSI
Customer Complaint: Engine shuts down shortly after starting. Vehicle has been stationary for approximately one month.
⚙️ Diagnosis:
Upon inspection and diagnostic scanning, we found that the fuel pump was not generating adequate pressure. Further investigation revealed corrosion on the fuel pressure sensor, which contributed to the malfunction and triggered fault codes in the ECU.
🛠️ Repairs Carried Out:
• Replaced fuel pump with a genuine OEM Skoda part
• Replaced corroded fuel pressure sensor with an OEM component
• Performed a complete regular service (oil, filters, etc.) to ensure smooth operation
💯 Result:
Following the repairs and service, the vehicle now starts and runs smoothly without shutting down.
