The Manipur Golden Travels incorporated into Private Limited Company on 5th October 1998 under the name Manipur Golden Travels Private Limited. With an objective of creating a new era of services in Manipur, MGT Pvt. applied for TATA Authorized Service Station, and within a short span of time, it was awarded with the dealership of TATA Commercial Vehicle for the entire state of Manipur. Later, the

company’s name was changed from Manipur Golden Travels Pvt. Ltd., which was more of a travel agency, to MGT Motors Pvt. On 16th October 2003, the new name was allotted and confirmed by the Registrar of Companies under Companies Act, 1956. MGT Motors started the sales of TATA Commercial Vehicles in Manipur from 28th October 2000 by selling vehicles only through cash and bank finance. During the visit of Mr A I Rebello to the Area Office Guwahati on 6th December 2000, MGT Motors was given the approval to start the financing of commercial vehicles. Since then, the company has been actively involved in sales through TATA Motors Finance, thereby setting benchmarks year after year in terms of growth in business volumes and finance recovery. MGT MOTORS PVT LTD is also a dealer of Bosch service. Due to customers’ demand, the service facilities of bosch have been provided at the workshop.
