Audi A6 Matrix : Air shock replacement
This Audi A6 Matrix came in with very loud front end suspension noise. Previously, the owner went to some other workshop with a leak, what made us laugh was the previous guy replaced 2 front shocks with USED front shocks. We’re not against sourcing used parts, but wear and tear parts shouldn’t ever be taken from a scrap yard. The used shocks didn’t have any leak but had loud noise, probably the reason why they ended in a scrapyard. The noise was so bad that the car came on a tow truck. This clearly was the fault of the guys who previously worked on the car, and gave the owner of the car a wrong and bad advice.

What we did was install back the old good shock on one side, and a new shock on the other, calibrated the air suspension system and the car was back on the road.

Mercedes ML250 W166 : In with excessive cabin vibrations and shudder while turning the engine on and off. This is a clear indication that the engine and transmission mounts have worn out.

What we did?
Replaced the engine mounts and transmission mount.

Post this the car was back to it’s perfectness.

This Skoda Superb came from Karnataka to us. The owner of this car was impressed after driving another Superb that we worked on. They came to us with major services due, noisy suspension, not so smooth or powerful engine and rough transmission expecting us to revive their car completely.

Audi Q5 45TFSI (2021) in with multiple heavy oil leaks.
The leakage started during a road trip around 500 kms away and the owner wanted to get the work done by us, so he ended up using top up and drive system till he reached Hyderabad - sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

What we did?
- Replaced the front main oil seal with an OEM Elring unit
- Resealed the lower timing cover with one of the best sealants available - Corteco EVO 300, since there is no gasket for this from the factory.
- Replaced the engine oil chamber packing with an OEM Elring unit
For packings, gaskets and oil seals, Elring, Victor Reinz and Corteco are the Original Equipment Manufacturers for almost all European vehicles and are 100% same as using the original product.

While at it, we performed an annual service using :
- Mannol 7908 Premium fully synthetic engine oil (Audi Approved)
- Mann Oil filter (OEM)
- Mann Air filter (OEM)
- Audi original cabin filter
- ZF/Wabco Coolant
- ZF/TRW Coolant
- Washer fluid
- Scanning, door greasing, general checkup, wash - vacuum

Post this the car had no oil leaks and was back on the road making it more than ready for another road trip.

This BMW 520d F10 came to us with an excessively high cabin vibration and a metal on metal vibration noise.
We found that the engine mounts and the transmission mount were completely busted, and the right side mount was in such a bad shape that the engine was touching the chassis of the car hence making the metal on metal noise.

What we did?
Replaced the engine mounts with OEM Corteco units and the transmission mount with a Lemforder one. The original BMW mounts are manufactured by Corteco and Lemforder so basically this is the same product that’s used at the authorised service centre.

Post the job, the car was so quiet that it seemed brand new!
