14th March is the last date to upload your designs. Here is some inspiration from
โI have always found motorcycles astonishing. It boggles the mind that instead of all the shapes and sizes they come in, all of them follow the same basic formula; two wheels, an engine and the rider in between. For someone who grew up adoring motorcycle articles, motorsports, and out-of-the-box artistic custom builds, I have realized that a Royal Enfield is the most approachable and affordable motorcycle that I would want to own and build to my own personal taste.
Minimalist Modern Architecture and Dinosaurs are not usually seen as things that fit together. Add to the mix a Cafe Racer and it becomes something even more intriguing. With a dream to build this particular motorcycle someday, I present to you "QUETZALCOATLUS". For me, the inspiration for the smallest offering from RE, the Meteor 350, came from its namesake; the Quetzalcoatlus northropi, one of the largest known flying animals of all time. The main idea for the form was of a Pterosaur in flight, with its wings in the down swept position. The monolithic aesthetic and minimalism come together to create something that looks very crisp and contemporary.
The copper accents are a nod to its ancient, legendary inspiration and the muted blue satin finish on the body signifies the skies where these predators took flight. It symbolizes the feeling of freedom and oneness with an individualโs motorcycle. Tyres, Front forks, rear dampers and handlebars have been sourced from The RE Continental GT. Built to stand out on both busy neon-lit city streets and traffic light stops, this is the machine one would enjoy on late night city drives. The Perfect Urban Cruiser. The Perfect Head Turner. This is My Own Legend.โ
