PARTS CHANGED ARE.
1. 1000CC ENGINE SWAPPED WITH 1300 ENGINE
2. CARBURETOR TO M.P.F.I.
3. COMPLETE OLD WIRING AND FUSE BOXES TO NEW E.C.M. SETUP
4. MANUAL STEERING TO POWER STEERING
5. MANUAL INDEPENDENT LOCK SYSTEM TO GENUINE NIPPON CENTER LOCKING UNIT
6. MANUAL WINDOWS TO ALL 4 POWER WINDOWS
7. NEW MODEL DASH BOARD, DOOR TRIMS AND CENTER CONSOLE
8. NEW MODEL MULTI FLOW COOLING COIL AND CONDENSER WITH R134A SETUP FROM R12.
9. KEY TYPE OPENING SETUP CONVERTED TO PULL TYPE BOOT AND FUEL LID OPENING SETUP NEAR THE RIGHT SIDE OF DRIVER SEAT.
10. COMPLETE NEW LOCK SET

THESE ARE A FEW MAIN NOTICEABLE THINGS THAT ARE LISTED HERE BUT THERE WERE UNCOUNTABLE THINGS THAT WERE NEEDED TO MAKE THIS KIND OF AN EXTENSIVE OVERHAUL AND MAKEOVER.
AND THEN TO BE ABLE TO PROCURE SPARES FOR A CAR WHICH HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED FOR MORE THAN A DECADE, WHILE KEEPING IN MIND THE COST EFFECTIVENESS TOO WAS A MAMMOTH CHALLENGE.

WHILE HANDLING OUR DAILY SERVICE AND REPAIR REQUESTS FROM OTHER CUSTOMERS, IT TOOK US 3-4 YEARS TO COMPLETE THIS EXTENSIVE BUILD.

AND THE CAR WAS HANDED OVER TO AN EXTREMELY HAPPY CUSTOMER WITH A 5 YEAR ANTI RUST GUARANTEE ON THE BODY AND A 50000KM ENGINE WARRANTY.

This 2008 model Maruti Suzuki SX4 came to us simply for an estimate for engine, clutch, suspension overhaul and some decent body repair work so that when sold, it's able to fetch it's owner a respectable amount which could then be added on to buying a new sedan for his son.

From the beginning, I'm a firm believer of owning exclusive masterpieces but with judicious use of resources. For this car too, I suggested designing it into something that their young son would enjoy driving, is a head turner as it whizzes down the road and will cost them merely 20% of their intended investment in a new vehicle. I gave an estimate of Rs. 1 lac for the jobs requested by them and an additional 1 lac for modifications on the car, with a guarantee of another 5 hassle-free years on the road.

To convince them finally and surely, it took me a digital designing of all that I had in mind to transform this humble vehicle into a beast on the streets. The father-son duo believed in me and that's all we needed to go full-steam ahead.

The rest they say is history...

While our customer walked in with the intent of only getting a complete dent- paint done for the car, we managed to get him excited for revamping its look; something that will not only look novel, stylish, and suit his personality but isn't also anything very jarring to the eye. So gave it a full dent-paint, body striping as well as all new and painted alloys and tyres.

After days of incessant restorative and creative inputs by our team, here's presenting the 'THEN' and 'NOW' of this beauty!
