Ssangyong, a Korean automobile manufacturer that is owned by Mahindra, already sells a premium SUV called the Rexton in India. But in order to make the brand more appealing to the masses, they will launch the Tivoli compact SUV in the near future. The Tivoli will effectively go up against the likes of the Hyundai Creta and the Honda BR-V but will be slightly more expensive than the former two.
The Ssangyong Tivoli in India will get both a petrol and a diesel engine. The petrol engine is a 1.6-litre motor that makes 128PS of peak power and 160Nm of peak torque. The diesel on the other hand is a 1.6-litre motor that gets 116PS of peak power and 300Nm of peak power. Both engines come with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic gearbox and are offered with a front wheel drive or all wheel drive setup.

The was a sight to behold and now has revealed its upcoming micro-SUV, the KUV100. It can not be disputed that the car is definitely striking, albeit in a love-or-hate kind of way. Mahindra's offerings incorporate inputs from the premium Italian design house, Pininfarina, which was recently acquired by Tech Mahindra.

The car bears certain similarities to Nissan Juke especially at the rear end. The overall package might be a tad too overwhelming for you but the styling cues are definitely impressive in small doses.

The red highlights in the blacked-out along with wraparound headlamps definitely stand out and the attention to detail can be spotted in integration of Mahindra logo in the clusters.

The sleek grill helps in providing an intimidating stance to the rest of the car and incorporates silver accents, which are immaculately integrated.

You can't have a micro-SUV/Crossover without cladding and Mahindra made sure that this particular box was checked for KUV 100. The car features a two-tone bumper that incorporates a scuff plate and large rectangular fog lamps that are integrated in a jaunty angle.

Mission E heads to production

It might look like it has dropped out of a sci-fi movie set a few decades into the future, but the Porsche Mission E is going to be a reality very soon.
With motive power coming from its lithium ion batteries, the Mission E promises to deliver a mileage of 500 kms on a single charge. Porsche may manage to boost it further, when the vehicle actually hits the dealership stores, but for now, this range seems acceptable. Total power is said to be 592 horsepower, 0-100kmph will be done and dusted in 3.2 seconds. Another interesting aspect about the fully electric vehicle from Porsche is that it can charge up to 80% battery within 15 minutes.
