Back to Basics!
R15 V1 in for Daytona kit fitment.
Installed with High Lift Cam , Retro fitted with V3 clutch , Free Flow Race Exhaust , Daytona Race ECU , 300v engine oil , motocool coolant and Racing Slick tyres.
The bike is now transformed into a wheelie monster in 1st , 2nd and 3rd fear and revs all the way freely to 12k rpm!

This bike is actually owned by a good friend of ours and has temporarily been loaned to us.

Quite well known in RE circles in Chennai for its “ sleeper” looks and strong performance.
Used as a daily driver!

Our first and last bike we did before .
▪️engine oil change .
▪️brake pads change .
▪️steering head bearing greased and service
▪️air filter cleaned
▪️spark plugs cleaned
▪️custom handlebar fitted ( as per customer request)
▪️throttle body cleaned
▪️full chain service .
▪️wash and clean
This was one bike we were waiting to work on. Not only because they are rare here in Chennai but also because the attention to detail, fit and finish are miles ahead of its competition!
A true head turner and sounds fantastic with those slip ons!

This particular is special to us , not just because it’s a tiger but because it’s the 24th serviced by us. We are very proud of this and we are pretty sure we are one of the few private garages that have done this many bikes outside of the service centre.

“New kid on the block”

We’re very proud and lucky to be one of the first private garages to have got our hands on the “ ”

•- front sprocket changed to 14 T for better low end torque
•-PPF Installed on the tank near the tank pad area
•-PPF installed on the TFT screen
•-windscreen wrapped to dark smoke
•- General Check

Some of our observations after a quick spin

Pros

- very smooth engine , much smoother than the
- lovely wide bars with great manoeuvrability in traffic
- clear TFT screen with good visibility even in bright sunlight.
- excellent heat management and cooling even in peak traffic- the fan never even came on once!
- very comfortable upright riding position
- That matte orange looks 😍

Cons
- definitely sluggish in the lower RPMs compared to the Duke 390. Partly because of BS6 and a much taller tyre profile.
But it’s acceptable and definitely not lifeless! The front sprocket swap definitely makes it much better.
- Super Hard rear suspension ! Will be hard to tour on it
- Shorter riders will definitely find it a bit of a stretch.
- Pretty Average Quickshifter - But then again - They never really work well on single cylinder motorcycles!
