Electronic Power Control (EPC) is a computerized ignition and engine management system found in V.A.G. cars (Volkswagen Group).
A Major Talk of India w.r.t the sibling of our is facing with EPC. So here is our analysis.
This is one awesome safety measure for the VW group of engine management. "While you can continue to drive with the EPC warning light on, you run the risk of doing significant damage to the engine. To help prevent damage, the EPC's limp-home mode might activate, making the vehicle sluggish as you seek help".
This is nothing but "indicator pointing to issues with your Volkswagen's throttle system" - throttle pedal, throttle body, traction control, or cruise control unit which need attention.
Here are just a few of the issues that could be indicated by the EPC dashboard warning light:
Engine Speed Sensor Malfunction
Brake Light Switch Malfunction
Mass Air Flow Sensor Malfunction
Problem with the Cruise Control
Problem with the Throttle System
But in case of Kushaq, this is related to Trottle system, which the fuel flow is not sufficient for the Kushaq. Which is getting replaced at dealership level at free of cost.
So How does it affect Taigun?
Absolutely not, Learnings are there to correct our mistakes. The EPC system issue due to trottle system has been addressed from very first delivery of Taigun.
