Maruti Suzuki being the largest auto manufacturer in India has a wide range of models which include the Maruti Suzuki Swift hatchback, which is vehemently popular across the country. The sporty looking hatchback is due for a complete makeover, and the restyled Swift will arrive in India sometime in 2017. Until now we have seen the spyshots of the test mules for this model, and the 2017 Swift seems to come aggressive and fully revised compare to the outgoing model. The front fascia of the new swift would be aggressive and a bit boxy compare to the outgoing model’s sloping fascia, and the car would boast sharp headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights, hexagonal large radiator grille. Interestingly the rear passenger door handle in the 2017 Maruti Suzuki Swift will be positioned at the thick C pillar, which is a design cue used in the Chevrolet Beat and Mahindra KUV100. The interior of the next generation Swift will also come revamped; which would get multifunction steering wheel, dual pod instrument cluster with a TFT display at the centre, a large touchscreen infotainment system at the centre console. The dashboard, seats and the door trims will receive black and red contrast theme. The powertrain is yet to be conformed, but the 2017 Swift might come available in both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol engines would be a 1.2 litre K-Series and a 1.0 litre Boosterjet unit, while the diesel unit would be updated as well. The transmission duties would be done by five speed manual gearbox, while an AMT and CVT would be as option as well. Pricing for this car would be between Rs. 5 lakh to Rs. 10 lakh. Expected Launch date: Oct 2017

नई दिल्‍ली। महिंद्रा एंड महिंद्रा ने दिल्‍ली-एनसीआर के लिए इंटेली-हाइब्रिड टेक्‍नोलॉजी वाली नई स्‍कॉर्पियो को लॉन्‍च किया है। इसमें 1.99 लीटर का इंजन लगा हुआ है। इसके बेस एस-4 मॉडल की शुरुआती एक्‍सशोरूम कीमत 9.35 लाख रुपए होगी। दिल्ली में इस मॉडल पर पांच फीसदी की वैट छूट उपलब्ध होगी, जिससे ग्राहकों को यह मॉडल के हिसाब से 60,000 से 90,000 रुपए तक सस्ती पड़ेगी।

कंपनी के अध्यक्ष एवं मुख्य कार्यकारी (ऑटोमोटिव) प्रवीण शाह ने कहा,

क्‍या हैं खूबिंया

इंटेली-हाइब्रिड टेक्‍नोलॉजी वाहन की ईंधन खपत को सात फीसदी तक कम करता है।
यह इंजन को गाड़ी की गति, स्थिति इत्यादि की जानकारी उपलब्ध कराता है और तीन सेकेंड से ज्यादा देर तक गाड़ी के खड़े रहने पर यह इंजन को स्वत: बंद कर देता है।
इंजन को फि‍र से चालू करने के लिए ब्रेक ऊर्जा का प्रयोग करता है, जिससे बैटरी चार्ज की जाती है, अन्यथा यह ऊर्जा पहले यूंही बेकार चली जाती थी।
ऑड-ईवन योजना से हाइब्रिड टेक्‍नोलॉजी वाले वाहनों को छूट रहती है, इसलिए कंपनी ने दिल्‍ली-एनसीआर में इसे उतारा है।
इससे पहले मारुति ने माइल्‍ड हाइब्रिड एसएचवीएस सिस्‍टम के साथ सियाज सेडान और अर्टिगा को लॉन्‍च कर चुकी है।
