Team Chimera Team Chimera is a Formula Student team from R.V. College of Engineering, India. Since then, we have launched 4 electric prototypes.

In the past the team has converted a Pure Electric Vehicle from REVA into a Series Hybrid and fetched laurels and great recognition in the highly acclaimed CHALLENGE BIBENDUM held by MICHELIN in Germany. Our work includes designing a Hybrid Race Car that participated in the prestigious FSAE Hybrid competition held annually at the Univesity of Dartmouth,U.S.A. and carried the endorsement of SAE & IEEE along with the backing of many Automotive and Electronics giants. Also the first electric car from R.V College of Engineering which participated in the FSAE-ITALY 2015. We have participated in FSAE-JAPAN 2016 under electrical car section and bagged ROOKIE Award.

Formula Bharat 2020...
When we looked back at the past year, A question popped up... What went right this time? Moments later, we realized that nothing went right this year! Starting from the quiz, A lot of technical issues, Issues during testing which resulted in a lot of delays... Giving up at this point was an easy option for us!...

But, we never let that dim the fire in our hearts. All those all-nighters, all those ideas, all those brainstorming sessions, just made our car closer, but not close enough! We realized that we just need that one spark, that one little spike to push us towards success.

On the bright side, We have done well in the Cost and Manufacturing event.

"As the old leaves shed smiling at new ones, falling today for a happier tomorrow", DRUTA's physical form might be brought down to scrap, but the knowledge gained from it is invaluable.
Kudos to everyone who was a part of this journey!

We are proud to say that our concerted efforts have resulted in great success at Formula Bharat, 2019 held between 23rd and 27th January in Coimbatore. We stood-

1st in Business Presentation
5th in Design Evaluation and
8th in Cost and Manufacturing

We secured overall 6th position in EV category.

This event has left us with a lot of experiences that will undoubtedly be invaluable.
We shall endeavour to ensure that it’s an onward and upward journey. We would also take this opportunity to extend our sincere gratitude towards our College Administration, Faculty Advisor, Sponsors and our Alumni for their unwavering support and encouragement without whom this would not have been possible .
