All that glitters, isn't gold!

Say hello to this Golden Honda Accord 2.4MT. Understated on the outside but completely blatant on the inside.

This has been a very special build to us and its owner - .k9788 . A car that is a fruit of labour of passion and lot of desire. A car that can crush sheer horsepower numbers on demand and yet look like nothing on the outside. This is arguably the most powerful JDM street car in the country. A real car. Not a reel car!

Under the hood of this bespoke blue shade car, shod on custom Enkei RCT5 wheels, dropped with RC Suspension Technology coilovers and bunch of bits visible on the outside - lies a real monster. Bars that work hard!

It takes a lot to keep a car stiff. A lot of elements work in tandem to make a car handle right, turn right and for everything - chassis rigidity is key. How do you improve that?
That's the bolt on solution we have for the tuner friendly cars - Strut Tower Bars (STB) - Reducing chassis flex to a whole new level. Thanks to our Motorsport derived designs that ensure superior torsional rigidity over conventional strut bars that are more show than go.

Here's a quick overview of how we documented the build process of a stock 2008 Honda Civic 1.8 Manual.

We have always been fascinated with cylinder heads and intake/exhaust flow to enhance engine efficiency. The main reason our builds are fast and reliable is down to the breathing and pumping efficiency of the engines we build. So here's a quick look at our numbers in a step by step process.

Map 1 - 119whp - power at wheels from a bone stock, mint Civic run around 50000kms. (Factory claim 132hp at crank)

Map 2 - 127.9whp - power at wheels after our cylinder head treatment. Nothing else. Everything else stock. A whooping 9whp increase in power and massive change in engine torque/overall power curve

Map 3 - 138.7whp - Cylinder head upgrade + our bespoke exhaust system and tuned intake. Improvements in torque and power across the rev band and most importantly, a fatter curve from 3500rpm itself to improve gas mileage, driveability and overall a proper 20whp and 20nm increase over stock.

This experiment goes to show how efficient engines can be built with the right tweaks. This isn't very expensive but is a massive gain over stock to experience. Improving overall performance, efficiency and reliability to a whole new level. Pushing the overall power figures from claimed 132hp to well past 150hp, this engine is massive fun to drive. Almost negating all the flaws the stock engine had and making it one hell of a street car.

Nothing beats the stance of this lowered Honda Civic here. Not just lowered, but resto-modded and powerful.

We come across many riced-out Civic builds - bagged and dropped. But the real deal is when you drop in our bespoke RC Suspension Technology coilovers - to bring out the handling prowess that Honda Motor Co. engineered. The Civic 8th gen is a handling masterpiece and with the right bits, it's more go than show!
