An external statistical analysis of 57,000+ events from 160 active WATCHIT-equipped vessels:

-Alerts consistently align with near-miss conditions
- Captains measurably adjust their actions immediately after an alert
- A post-alert maneuver has ~77% probability of being calmer than a comparable non-alert one
- Effect holds across day, night, and every vessel size category tested

"These findings signal a step-change in marine safety," said Tal Duvdevany, CEO of WATCHIT. "From passive displays to systems that actively shape decisions in real time, bringing boating closer to automotive safety standards."

Our new website is live 🎉

The first site showed where we started. This one shows where we are:

- Two products on the water: WATCHIT SENSE and WATCHIT EYE
- Automotive-grade safety, purpose-built for the sea with marine AI and 4D imaging radar
- Partners and customers leading the industry: Azimut, Ferretti, ADA Yacht Works, Tankoa, Skipper, and more

Same promise: collision and grounding prevention, always on, always watching.

We've listened to captains and builders, and crafted the new site to address the questions we hear most:

- How automotive-grade safety translates to the water
- What "timely alerts" mean in the moments that matter
- Why zero effort is a feature, not a tagline
- And many more

Welcome aboard 🌊 →

Collision and grounding prevention system for recreational boats. Marine AI and 4D imaging radar deliver timely alerts with zero effort.

Live from PIBS 2026.

Back-to-back meetings in Palma. Shipyards. Captains. Tier 1 suppliers. Insurers. Press.

The Mediterranean still sets the pace for the recreational market, and PIBS is where you see who's moving and how.

Thank you to everyone who's made the time so far. Two more days to go.

Safer seas in sight.

That's a 36-meter superyacht on a Bahamian reef.

The M/Y DOUBLE SHOT, a 120-foot Tecnomar, ran aground around 2 AM on December 23, 2025, while trying to enter Emerald Bay Marina in Great Exuma.

The conditions on paper:

- Night
- Rough weather
- Northwest channel light reported missing at the marina entrance
- A notoriously difficult inlet

Reports also indicate the same vessel had grounded softly earlier that day at Highbourne Cay Marina, 90 nautical miles north, and was refloated by a tug.

The yacht hit the reef about 100 meters off the inlet. Important hull damage. Fuel tanks breached. No injuries, thankfully.

This is exactly why we built WATCHIT.

WATCHIT runs continuously in the background, fusing GPS, AIS, depth, and its own up-to-date embedded nautical charts. The AI evaluates grounding risk against the boat's real position, heading, and speed. When a hazard becomes likely, the alert lands on the displays already at the helm, with enough lead time to change course.

No new screens. No new workflows. No reliance on a single channel light at a difficult inlet.

The reef was always there. The captain was experienced. The boat was capable.

What was missing was a system that's always on, always watching. Especially at 2 AM, in rough water, with a missing channel light.

Let's make groundings a thing of the past.

At Boot Düsseldorf, journalist Matt Müncheberg climbed aboard the Azimut Fly to see WATCHIT for himself.

He asked sharp questions. Saw the system in action. Then put the story in print.

The result is a full feature in the April edition of Meer & Yachten, one of Germany's biggest magazines for yacht owners and enthusiasts.

A big thank you to Matt and to the entire Meer & Yachten team for the spotlight 💙

Germany is a major market for recreational yachting in Europe. Being introduced to that community in print means a lot to our team.

Your car sees the danger before you do.

Your boat? It doesn't even try.

Cars have had collision prevention systems for over a decade. Lane departure warnings. Automatic braking. Blind spot alerts. Technology that steps in when the driver can't.

Boats have... a captain's eyes. Maybe a chart. Maybe radar, if you're lucky.

Here's what that gap looks like:

📊 3,887 boating incidents in 2024.

556 lives lost.

2,170 injuries.

$88 million in property damage.

The #1 contributing factor across these incidents? Human error.

Operator inattention. Improper lookout. Inexperience.

Sound familiar? Those are the exact same problems ADAS solved on the road.

We built WATCHIT to bring that same thinking to the water.

4D imaging radar. Marine AI. Continuous, zero-effort protection.

Not a screen you have to stare at. A system that watches when you can't.

Always on, always watching.

The automotive industry proved that technology saves lives.

It's time the marine industry caught up.

When captains and engineers fly in from around the world to walk your production floor, you hear things no feedback form will ever capture.

Ferretti Group has been doing this for 19 years. It's called Convergence.

This year, we were proud to be part of it. Four days at the Ravenna and Ancona shipyards. 140 captains. Many of them already WATCHIT users.

Sitting with captains who use your product every day on the water. Hearing what works. Hearing what they need next. There's nothing like it.

Thank you Group for having us 💙

IBI's latest report on Italy's major yacht builders features the biggest names in the industry. We're proud to be mentioned among them.

WATCHIT brings AI-based collision and grounding prevention to recreational vessels. Seeing our work recognized at this level, in a report that defines who's shaping the future of yachting, means a lot to our team.

This is what happens when you build something the industry needs 💙

The full report, "Italian builders report strong order books but headwinds remain" by David Robinson, is available to IBI subscribers.

He was 15. Out on the water with his dad.

Bright kayak. Red life jacket. Paddling in a group, clearly visible.

None of it mattered.

A speedboat was coming at 25mph. The bow was raised. The captain couldn't see past it.

The collision destroyed his kayak and threw him into the water.

He survived, but he hasn't been back on the water since.

This week, the captain became the first person prosecuted under the UK's new watercraft safety laws. The charge: failing to maintain proper watch.

Here's the thing. The captain wasn't reckless. He wasn't drunk. He just couldn't see.

At speed, a raised bow blocks everything ahead. By the time the captain saw the kayak, it was already too late.

This is why we built WATCHIT.

WATCHIT continuously scans the path ahead, helping captains see further in any condition, react sooner, and change course in time.

Let's make these collisions a thing of the past.

We're back from boot Düsseldorf with one clear takeaway:

The industry is done waiting for smarter safety tech.

At the EBI breakfast, Philip Easthill led a conversation with Petros Michelidakis, Constantin Buschmann (Brabus), Norbert Leitfeld, Erna Rusi (Saxdor), and Fabio Planamente (Del Pardo). The message was clear: today's boat buyers expect the same intuitive technology they have in their cars. Innovation isn't optional anymore. It's expected.

ADAS changed driving. Boating is next.

The question isn't if. It's how fast.

That's exactly why we were there. WATCHIT was running live on the Azimut Fly 82 and displayed on Garmin screens, showing visitors what collision and grounding prevention looks like in 2026.

Thanks to Garmin for the partnership. And to every builder, shipyard, and partner who stopped by to see it in action.

Congrats to Azimut|Benetti Group on winning the Motor Boat Award for Best Custom Motor Yacht Over 80ft with the Azimut Fly 82. Well deserved.
