Both of these oil filters came out of similar diesel engines during a service. The filter on the left is from a car with regular services the filter on the right not so much. For the car that had the filter on the left all that was required was a routine service. For the car that had the filter on the right that wasn't the case, due to the lack of regular servicing the oil in that car started to thicken causing the filter to start blocking up and collapsing in on itself drastically reducing oil pressure which in turn caused the engine a whole host of problems and a hefty bill for the customer. That's why we always recommend regular servicing of your car (Every 15,000km or every year which ever comes sooner) It will save you money in the long run.

Timing belt replacement on a 2018 Ford Focus 1 litre eco boot. These cars have what is called a wet belt which means it is in with the oil and over time oil degrades the belt which in turn can cause serious problems, Ford recommend replacing the timing belt on these engines at 200,000km or 10 years. This car had only 75,000km on the clock and already the belt had started to degrade and pieces of belt had started to gather in the oil pick up strainer. Luckily for this customer they opted to do it early and saved themselves serious engine problems in the long run.

This deposit will be fully refunded or applied to your service if you cancel at least 72 hours (3 days) in advance. Unfortunately, the deposit will be nonrefundable for cancellations made after this window or for no-show appointments.

Timing belt replaced on a 2019 peugeot 5008. This car had only 90,000km on it and was not to far away from catastrophe. This type of vehicle has what is called a wet belt which sits internally in the engine emersed in oil. Over time the belt starts to crack and break up causing fragments of the belt to block up the oil strainer reducing oil pressure which can cause premature engine wear or worse. Luckily for this customer we caught it just in time
