Super rare pre-facelift Saab 9-5 2.3t manual estate with aero rear spoiler. Approx 160k miles. Irish registered.
1999 car so will qualify for classic insurance and not long away from the vintage tax!
This fine piece of Swedish engineering has been parked up for a good number of years and as a result is not tested or taxed. The paintwork is in excellent condition as is the full leather interior. With some recomissioning she will be an absolute cracker! A nice easy project to pass the upcoming bank holiday weekend!
She has all the usual Saab refinements including a gorgeous full leather suite fit for the drawing room! Also fitted is a genuine dog guard fitted to chauffeur your pal around in style & comfort.
She's a versatile machine - oceans of space inside plus with the factory roof rails and towbar, she's perfect for camping, fishing, IKEA runs and all that good stuff!
She starts, runs & drives, - the engine is very sweet.
The grey leather interior is spotless with minimal wear and no rips or tears
Bodywork is immaculate - no battles scars or dents
The rear pockets & boot floor are rust-free (see pics).
Alloys are very clean
She will need a full going-over as she has been parked up for a number of years.
What does need doing from a cursory inspection is:
*full service and change all fluids
*a full brake overhaul
*tyres (I can supply different wheels at a price if wanted)
*the usual power steering pipe (which I have available in stock)
*run through the suspension/steering etc with a view to passing an NCT
*a good valet & a polish!
Please be aware that this car is a project and will require some work. It comes with NO warranty. It is not currently roadworthy so will have to be transported. I can deliver at cost nationwide or further afield if required. The car will need to be paid for in full prior to delivery.
I won't entertain timewasters, lowballers, lonely hearts or "last price" merchants. Come and look at the car if you wish to discuss price.
I will consider trade for a medium-large van. Age unimportant, just no rust!
