SEEKING HGV MECHANICS.
€50,000–€65,000 + Overtime | Meath | Full-Time | Permanent | Monday–Friday
Quinn Tanker Services is looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop team in Meath.

What you'll be doing
You'll play an important role in keeping our HGV and trailer fleet safe, reliable and roadworthy, carrying out servicing, diagnostics, preventative maintenance and repairs.
Your responsibilities will include:
Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs and trailers
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults
Carrying out preventative maintenance and vehicle inspections
Repairing and maintaining engines, brakes, suspension, steering and transmission systems
Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults
Carrying out welding and fabrication work where required
Completing workshop and job records accurately
Maintaining high standards of health & safety and workmanship
Working as part of a busy workshop team to keep vehicles on the road
What we're looking for
Qualified HGV Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Technician
Previous experience working on HGVs, trucks or commercial vehicles
Strong mechanical, diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Good knowledge of HGV maintenance and repair
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
HGV licence is an advantage but not essential
Good spoken and written English to follow safety procedures and technical instructions
Salary & benefits
€50,000–€65,000 per year, depending on experience
Overtime opportunities
Monday to Friday
Choice of working hours: 8:00am–5:00pm or 9:00am–6:00pm
