In Memory of Brigid Lambe ❤️
Brigid Lambe was, in every sense, a woman who gave everything to her family and to the business she and Gussie built together from nothing.
When Gussie founded Lambe Oil in Tullamore in 1971, Brigid was right there alongside him. Through every early morning, every tough season, and every challenge that came their way, she was a constant presence, a steady hand, and a huge part of why this business became what it is today. They were a team, and anyone who knew them knew that.
After Gussie passed in 2002, Brigid watched with pride as the business continued to grow, carried forward by her daughter Rita. She never lost interest in it. Right up to the end, she was asking questions, keeping tabs, and offering the kind of guidance that only comes from someone who lived it.
Lambe Oil is now over fifty years in business, a proud Offaly institution. A lot of that is down to the woman we are saying goodbye to today.
She will be deeply missed. ❤️
