The V & V Show committee have called an open Meeting for all interested parties on Wednesday 27th July at 8.30pm at the Castle Arch Hotel Trim. For those who want to participate in the running the show and helping out in anyway they can your attendance will be very much appreciated. Thank You

The AGM on Wednesday night last throw up some facts which left us unable to make a decision on whether to run the V&V show in 2022 on our usual July slot or to defer it to a date later in the year. The main items were nobody is sure if our normal venue the Porch field will still be available from the Council after the work they have done on the site in the past year. So it is possible we may have to look for another venue. It has also been noted that some of the shows around the country are not holding an event in 2022, Terenure been one and some others in doubt. The price of petrol at present is still on the way up which does entice people travelling long distances or attending many events in a season. The lack if help from the younger generation in the type of show or cars we exhibit is also evident. To run the Trim show successfully at least 35 to 40 stewards are required on the show day alone never mind the week before and after the event. With all these factors to consider it was decided to defer the July show until we have more information on the problems mentioned and make a decision in a few months. An update will be posted on this website and on the Trim Classic Car Owners Club page.

Just a reminder as per the Facebook post a couple of weeks ago the AGM for the Trim Car Club/ V&V show committee is been held tonight at 8.30pm Wed 30th March in the Castle Arch Hotel Trim (Green Room). All parties interested in joining the club or in helping in the running of the show are invited to attend.

The AGM for Trim Car Club / V&V show committee is taking place in The Castle Arch Hotel on Wednesday March 30th at 8.30pm. People who have inquired about joining the club by email or letter or are interested in helping with the running of the Trim V & V Car show are welcome to attend. I'm sure we are all looking forward to getting back to as near normality as is possible. So why not come along and join our club and getting out on some of the events during the year.

Hi to everyone. We hoped at the start of 2021 that the Trim V&V show would be able to proceed in some shape or form, however due to the ongoing situation with Covid-19 measures expected to continue for some time it’s not going to be possible to organise an event this year. for now we hope everyone stays safe and we look forward to brighter days ahead. We hope to see you all in 2022.

With the ongoing Government guidelines still in place our Annual Vintage Show 2020 has been postponed until further notice. To all our followers, members, helpers and patrons we say stay safe and we will update you all with any new information.
