🚙 2021 Ford Ranger | Fuel System Repair

This Ranger was recovered to us after repeatedly cutting out while driving.

Following diagnosis, we removed the fuel tank and fuel pump assembly, where we found the pump pickup strainer almost completely blocked with thick sludge and biological contamination.

This is commonly caused by diesel bug – bacteria and fungi that can develop when water contaminates diesel fuel. Left untreated, it restricts fuel flow, leading to loss of power, poor running and eventually engine stalling.

After cleaning the fuel pump strainer and removing the contamination, the fuel system was able to deliver the correct flow once again.

🔧 2018 Audi A6 TDI – Complete 0CK S Tronic Transmission Service 🔧

This Audi A6 TDI was booked in for a comprehensive transmission service, along with a full engine service and vehicle health check.

The 0CK gearbox features two separate oil circuits, both of which were serviced correctly:

✅ Differential/final drive side serviced with the correct fluid
✅ ASM (Automatic Shift Manual/Mechatronic) side serviced with the correct fluid
✅ All 3 transmission filters replaced
✅ Transmission fluids renewed to the correct specification and quantity
✅ Full diagnostic procedure carried out before and after servicing
✅ Full engine service completed
✅ Vehicle inspection and check-over performed

Correct fill quantities are critical on these gearboxes. Overfilling one side can allow fluid to migrate into the other circuit, potentially causing gearbox performance issues and expensive repairs. Following the proper Audi service procedure and using the correct fluids ensures reliable operation and long gearbox life.

This 2014 Berlingo came in for a replacement rocker cover gasket. Over time, these rubber gaskets harden and become brittle, almost plastic like, which eventually leads to oil leaks.

A new gasket was fitted, everything cleaned up, and the van is now leak free and back on the road!

🚐 Volkswagen Caddy In for Service & Pre CVRT Inspection ✅

This VW Caddy came in for a full service and pre CVRT inspection, and our full check-over revealed a few extra jobs that needed attention 👨‍🔧

🔧 Replaced:
• 4 new shocks
• CV boot
• Droplink
• Rear anti-roll bar bushings
• Top mount

We also noticed the timing belt and water pump were due, so we fitted a high quality INA timing belt & water pump kit to keep the engine running reliably.

Now this Caddy is fully serviced, safe, and ready for CVRT testing!
