Ireland's leading Classic and Sports Car Specialists based in Clare. I remember it like it was yesterday. I joke. Oh! But that's ok.

If we haven't yet done the marketing equivalent of running up and slapping you in the face, then please allow us to introduce ourselves. Right after I fire our marketing department for not doing their job of course. Lyons Garages was set up in the late 1960s on a fine Summer's day. Seriously though, that day was so lovely out, that if I was there I'd probably have got burnt. Either from the BBQ or the sun. Based in West Clare along with the older brother Lyons Travel, we are a small family business specialising in the restoration, rebuilding and servicing of Classic Minis, MGs, Triumphs, Fords, Jaguar, Porsche *deep breath* aaaaand many more classic sports cars. You name it, we can Google it. Thanks to a bit of construction work in 2015, we're now in probably the largest dedicated classic car garage in Ireland. We undertake all restoration work, large or small. From baby rust repairs right through to complete restoration projects. We carry out sand & bead blasting, rust treatment and also under-body and cavity wax sealing. With backgrounds in Design and Engineering, we'll not only make your machine work well, but my word will it look good. It's a bit beyond the ol' lick of paint be grand jobs! Basically we like to make ugly things pretty... What can I say - We're shallow people. All our work is fully documented & photographed. Our aim is to complete all work to the highest possible standard, whether it be a full concours style build or an everyday classic. We're a great bunch of lads altogether! We have a Garage Blog, like a diary I suppose you could call it. It's where you can find out what we've been up each week and see what's upcoming in the world of Lyons Garages. We regularly update our site with new photos of current restorations and of finished builds. Now that the new garage has been freshly painted and the likes, you can expect a few more artistic ones. Oh and videos with dramatic music and lots of slow motion. You can also follow us on le page and on el Instagram. If you like entertainment, you should probably like our page... If not, well maybe entertainment just isn't for you. We don't judge...

🛠️🧰 *Panel Beaters, Welders, and Mechanics Wanted* 🛠️🧰
1. Panel Beaters / Welders. We are looking for people who can weld replacement panels and chassis and fabricate small pieces. We deal with light steel and aluminium.
2. Mechanics. Will be involved in the strip down, repair, and rebuild of classic cars.
- Previous garage/workshop experience.
- Experience with classic cars would be a plus.
- Good communication skills. English is important.
- Trustworthy and reliable.
- Takes immense pride in their work.
- Neat, tidy, and careful.
- Ability to plan work and meet deadlines.
- Keen interest in cars and enthusiastic about the industry.
- Authorised to work in Ireland.
