Poulnabrone Dolmen has been standing in the Burren for more than 5,000 years — roughly 500 years before the pyramids of Giza were built. ⏳

And it gets even more fascinating…archaeologists discovered the remains of at least 33 people buried beneath the monument.

Imagine the world when it was built: no roads, no machinery, no modern tools — yet enormous limestone slabs were transported and carefully positioned to create this extraordinary monument. 🤯

And today? It’s sitting right in the middle of the Burren — a landscape of dramatic limestone pavements, wild beauty, ancient monuments and hidden stories around almost every corner. 🌿

Ahhhh

This little lady is Oreo — a tiny Texel-Suffolk with a face that looks like someone dropped a packet of biscuits on her. 🍪🐑

She arrived in April and, despite being the smallest of the bunch, she’s already become something of a visitor favourite.

Her name was chosen by a little girl who spotted her very distinctive look — and quite frankly, we think she nailed it.

Likes: cuddles, attention, and being fussed over by visitors.

Dislikes: being overlooked, apparently — because she has absolutely no intention of blending into the flock. 😉

Five months old, pocket-sized and very much enjoying her celebrity status.

Small lamb. Big personality.
