The system uses an outside flat airbag, and outside heatpad, an inside heatpad, and an inflatable mandrel (airbag) to accomplish distortion-free repairs on radial and crossply OTR tyres. Rather than carrying out a normal puncture repair, most operators are now vulcanising all repairs to extend as much as possible the life of the tyre, and to minimise downtime. Our fitters have many years experience in industrial vulcanising, and can evaluate a damaged tyre's suitability for repair.
