We had a great day at our local show by Roughty Valley Vintage club on Sunday, we had 3 tractors and 3 cars at the show on the day, so it was busy here getting ready for it.
A lot going on , car, tractor and motorbikes on display, live music, blacksmith, threshing, lots of vintage memorabilia on display, and traditional baking and cooking over an open fire,
Thanks to everyone that attended and to those who put a lot of work into putting on the event, also thanks to the John o' Groats to Land's End Great Vintage Tractor Tour 2024 gap of Dunloe tractor run , who came to our event with 8 vintage tractors.

Thanks to the Irish Rovers for visiting us today, they are touring Kerry on these tractors after driving from north cork this morning,
Look out for them in the gap of dunloe, glencar, Ballaghbeama tomorrow and see them at The Roughty Valley Vintage club vintage day on Sunday in kilgarvan

It's was still warm last night, so another excuse to go for a drive , all going fine apart from a rattle from the heat shield on the exhaust,
Anyway, we are open all week from 9.30 to 5.30 if you are in the are in the area and would like to visit

After yesterday's spin around west cork with the Austin 7,s, I decided to go for another drive this evening, again over the hill to ballylickey and home again,
I folded the windscreen down for a bit more of the wind in the hair/flies in the teeth experience and I had a nice lively drive over. Borlin, until it stopped!
The bumps had broken the electric fuel pump clamp and the pump dropped, breaking the wires, of course this will always happen where there is no phone signal, but a temporary wire from the battery to the pump got me going in about 5 minutes,
So a little job for tomorrow to fix that, but it certainly didn't spoil my drive this evening.
