What Does a MITSUBISHI MOTORS Designer do?
Part 5: Perceived Quality
“Perceived quality” refers to the quality sensed by customers when they see, touch, and use a product. Our perceived quality engineers help refine designs by pointing out issues and sharing advice based on competitor information, future predictions, and the customer’s perspective.
Perceived quality engineer is an important job that spans from the initial development phase to post-release. These engineers check the interior and exterior designs, part fitting, the feel of the interior and other decorative elements, material textures, switch operation, and many other items. They also talk to customers after the launch to see if all objectives were met.
Inspired by the joy they feel when issues are fixed and improvements are made, perceived quality engineers are always thinking about whether the vehicle truly meets customer needs. We hope you can sense this from the refined, beautiful designs and textures of our cars.
