Before you decide to go to your local BMW Dealership, talk to us. We will run Dealership Level Diagnostic on your car and tell you what is wrong with it.

- Airbag Light on your dashboard! We can switch it off by deactivating the faulty module. BMW Dealership will not do it for you at all!

- You want to replace a faulty module on your BMW for a used one. The Module will need to be programmed in order to be recognised by the car main ECU. BMW Dealership will not do it for you! BMW vehicles are packed with lots of useful features such as Welcome Light, Folding Mirrors, Automatic re-lock, Convenient Locking, Open/Close Windows from the key fob, Digital Speed reading on Cluster, Video in Motion etc. but they may not be activated from the factory. BMW Dealership might be able to do that for you, but it will cost you a fortune!

🔧 BMW 4 Series – Restraint System Fault & Electrical Faults

This BMW 4 Series came to BMworkshop.ie – Independent BMW Specialists with multiple warning messages, including:

After carrying out a full diagnostic inspection, we found no communication with the airbag control module.

The faulty module was replaced with a new Genuine BMW control module, followed by programming and coding to the vehicle.

✅ Module programmed correctly
✅ Vehicle returned to the customer

🚗 BMW G30 520d – AdBlue Deactivation

This G30 520d came to us with an AdBlue fault showing only 50 km remaining.

We carried out a full diagnostic investigation and found a fault relating to the NOx sensor. The customer decided to replace the NOx sensor, despite the significant cost of the part.

After replacing the NOx sensor, all required adaptations were performed and the AdBlue system successfully completed all its tests with no further faults detected.

However, the AdBlue shutdown warning remained.

We carried out multiple tests and checks, and every time the system passed correctly with no apparent issues. The vehicle was operating normally, but the shutdown countdown fault would continue to return.

Unfortunately, there are cases where, even after replacing faulty components and carrying out all the required tests and adaptations, the AdBlue system continues to display the shutdown warning despite everything appearing to operate correctly.

In this particular case, after exhausting the available diagnostic and repair options, the only remaining solution was to deactivate the AdBlue system.

🔧 BMW F32 420d – Rocker Cover, Oil Cooler Gasket & Swirl Flaps

This BMW F32 420d came to BMworkshop.ie – Independent BMW Specialists for a rocker cover replacement due to an oil leak.

While carrying out the repair, we discovered that the oil cooler gasket was leaking as well.

Once the intake manifold was removed, we also found clear signs of oil leaking from the swirl flap shaft. We recommended replacing the swirl flaps at the same time, as the intake manifold was already removed.

Completing the repairs together meant we could save the customer additional labour costs rather than having to remove the intake manifold again at a later date.

🔧 BMW F30 330e – Oil Pressure Issue Resolved

Another BMW successfully repaired at BMworkshop.ie – Independent BMW Specialists.

This BMW F30 330e came to us with an intermittent oil pressure warning. The customer also reported that it was not possible to measure the engine oil level through iDrive.

🔍 Our Findings

After removing the oil filter, we discovered that it had been modified, causing a loss of oil pressure.

🛠️ The Repair

✅ Replaced the modified oil filter
✅ Replaced the engine oil
✅ Confirmed the problem was resolved
