🚗 DON’T LET ANOTHER DRIVER MAKE YOUR DECISIONS.

One challenge learner drivers face is pressure from impatient motorists.

A horn.

A car following too closely.

Someone signalling for you to hurry.

But your responsibility remains the same:

Observe → Assess → Decide → Act safely.

Confidence isn’t about making decisions quickly.

It’s about making the correct decision at the right time.

At Driveline, we teach learners to understand their decisions rather than react to pressure.

🚨 NEW LEARNER PERMIT RULES — 1 NOVEMBER 2026

Important changes take effect today in Ireland.

If you’re on your second or subsequent learner permit, make sure you understand the new requirements.

Under the new rules, simply booking a driving test is no longer sufficient to obtain a third or fourth permit.

You must have actually taken a driving test within the previous two years.

Your existing valid permit does not automatically expire today.

Check your individual circumstances through the RSA and NDLS.

At Driveline, we help learners prepare for their driving tests through structured lessons focused on understanding and independent driving.

📍 FINGLAS & MULHUDDART DRIVING TEST PREPARATION

Struggling with lane positioning or junctions?

The problem might begin earlier than you think.

Before approaching a junction, ask yourself:

✅ Have I noticed the signs?
✅ Do I understand the road markings?
✅ Have I chosen the correct lane?
✅ Am I approaching at a suitable speed?
✅ Have I given myself time to decide?

At Driveline, we focus on understanding why mistakes happen.

Don’t just correct the mistake. Learn to prevent it.

👀 “BUT I CHECKED MY MIRRORS!”

Have you ever said this after a driving lesson or driving test?

Here’s something worth understanding.

A mirror check is not just a movement of your head or eyes.

You need to:

1. Look.
2. Identify what’s happening.
3. Understand the risk.
4. Make a safe decision.

Observation should influence your actions.

At Driveline, we focus on helping learners understand the purpose behind each driving routine.
