Test candidates must now enter the driving test building and wait in the waiting room to be called. Testers will no longer call you in your car.

Information just received from RSA regarding driving tests.

Please note that as and from Monday 17th of January, driving test candidates will be asked to confirm they have taken an antigen test within 24 hours of the test and that it was negative before their driving test proceeds. If no antigen test was taken or if there was a positive result the driving test will not be conducted and candidates will be given another driving test invitation free of charge. Driving test candidates have been advised of this requirement. For more information please see the RSA website. www.rsa.ie

Driving tests are now being conducted from St.Finbarrs Hurling and Football Club in Togher. Check the location you have been given on the email from the driving testers.

From the 10th of May essential workers can commence EDT lessons. The following is the email received from the RSA. A declaration form has to be completed and forwarded by email to your driving instructor. Alternatively, a hard copy can be presented to the instructor before the lesson.

Latest information from RSA about EDT lessons. Instructors are still only allowed give lessons to people with proof of a test date until level 5 restrictions are lifted. Very frustrating for everyone involved.
