Just a reminder that CVRT/VTN Test Centres are deemed an essential service in the current Level 5 Covid lockdown. This is because a large percentage of commercial vehicles will still be in operation during lockdown.

We will be operating as normal, with all the relevant precautions in place. We ask people to arrive 10 minutes early, have their vehicles clean and sanitised as best they can. We would ask people to adhere to the measures in place, use the sanitisers provided, wash your hands, wear face masks inside the premises and observe the one way system at our reception area. Under the new guidelines, a visit to the test centre will be classified as an essential journey.

Also remember that all CVRT Tests that have expiry date after the initial lockdown on the 27th of March, automatically has a 3 month extension. This applies to all CVRT Tests after that date, and this will be your new anniversary date going forward. You will not receive a new disc with the revised expiry date.

Busy time testing after the COVID-19 CVRT Testing restrictions are lifted. Remember if you wish to avail of the lockdown 3 month extension to your CVRT test expiry date, just add 3 months on to the date on your disc. This applies to all CVRT's from the 28th March 2020.

If you do not wish to avail of the extension, due to seasonal work or maintenance plans, etc., you can test at any time.

CVRT COVID-19 UPDATE.

From Monday the 15th of June, CVRT testing restrictions will be lifted.

Remember all CVRT expiry dates, since March 28th, have 3 months added.
April expiry dates will now be July,
May will now be August,
June will be September, etc, etc.

Options available:‐‐
1. Avail of 3 month extension and test inline with new expiry date.

2. Test at any time once restrictions are lifted, but you must remember that you will lose all or part of the 3 month extension granted.

3. Some owners and operators wish to continue testing with their existing anniversary dates, to have aligned with their fleet service records, or with their Road tax, or for various other reasons. In this case you would also lose all or part of the 3 month extension granted.

As before, all vehicles can be tested 1 month in advance.
